Key Operating Points Of Pulse Dust Collector

Date:2025-06-03 Visit:29

Pulse Dust CollectorIt Is A Device That Uses Pulse Blowing To Remove Dust From Gases And Is Widely Used In Industrial Dust Removal Scenarios. The Following Are Common Usage Methods And Operating Points:

1、 Preparation Before Use

Equipment Inspection

Confirm That The Dust Collector Body, Pipelines, And Valves (such As Inlet Valves, Outlet Valves, Pulse Valves) Are Securely Connected Without Any Air Leakage Or Damage.

Check If The Filter Bag Is Installed Correctly (without Looseness, Wrinkles, Or Damage). If It Is A New Filter Bag, It Needs To Be Pre Coated With Dust (by Running It For A Short Period Of Time Without Load, An Initial Dust Layer Is Formed On The Surface Of The Filter Bag To Improve Filtration Efficiency).

Check Whether The Pulse Blowing System (such As The Air Storage Tank, Solenoid Valve, And Blowing Pipe) Is Normal And Whether The Air Pressure Has Reached The Set Value (usually 0.4~0.6MPa).

Confirm That The Ash Discharge Device (such As The Ash Discharge Valve And Ash Conveying Pipeline) Is Unobstructed And Free From Ash Accumulation And Blockage.

Electrical System Inspection

Connect The Power Supply And Test Whether The Start And Stop Of The Fan, Pulse Controller, Ash Discharge Valve And Other Equipment Are Normal, And Whether The Indicator Lights Display Accurately.

Set Pulse Cleaning Parameters (such As Blowing Interval, Blowing Time), Which Need To Be Adjusted According To The Nature Of The Dust (such As Concentration, Particle Size) And Equipment Specifications (e.g. Blowing Interval 10-30 Seconds, Blowing Time 0.1-0.2 Seconds).

2、 Startup And Running Operations

Startup Sequence

First, Open The Inlet And Outlet Valves Of The Dust Collector To Ensure Smooth Airflow Channels.

Start The Fan And Wait For It To Run Stably (about 1-3 Minutes). Slowly Adjust The Intake Valve And Control The Inlet Air Volume Of The Dust Collector To The Design Value (to Avoid Instantaneous Overload).

Observe The Operating Status Of The Equipment:

Monitor The Pressure Difference Between Imports And Exports (normal Working Pressure Difference Is 800~1200Pa). If The Pressure Difference Is Too High, The Filter Bag May Be Blocked And The Dust Cleaning Program Needs To Be Initiated; If The Pressure Difference Is Too Low, The Filter Bag May Be Damaged Or Leaking, And The Machine Needs To Be Stopped For Inspection.

Check Whether The Pulse Blowing System Is Blowing Normally (which Can Be Determined By Listening To The Sound Of The Pulse Valve Action Or Observing The Airflow Of The Blowing Pipe).

Observe Whether The Ash Discharge Device Is Discharging Ash Normally To Avoid Excessive Ash Accumulation In The Ash Hopper Affecting The Dust Removal Effect.

Normal Operation And Maintenance

Regularly Record Operating Parameters Such As Wind Volume, Wind Pressure, Pulse Blowing Frequency, And Ash Accumulation In The Ash Hopper, And Promptly Handle Any Abnormalities Found.

For High Concentration Dust Conditions, It Is Necessary To Shorten The Ash Discharge Cycle (such As Discharging Ash Once Per Hour) To Avoid Dust Backflow Caused By The Ash Hopper Being Full Of Ash.

Pay Attention To Equipment Temperature Rise: If The Temperature Of The Fan Or Motor Is Too High, Stop The Machine To Check The Heat Dissipation Or Bearing Lubrication Status.

3、 Pulse Cleaning Operation

Pulse Cleaning Is The Core Function Of Dust Collectors, Which Instantly Sprays Compressed Air Onto Filter Bags To Remove Dust Adhering To The Surface. The Operation Methods Are Divided Into:

Automatic Dust Removal

Set A Fixed Cycle Through A Pulse Controller (such As PLC Or Timing Controller) To Automatically Trigger The Spraying.

Advantages: No Need For Manual Intervention, Suitable For Continuous Operation Conditions;

Attention: It Is Necessary To Regularly Check Whether The Parameters Of The Control Instrument Drift, In Order To Avoid Affecting The Service Life Of The Filter Bag Due To Excessive Frequency Or Sparsity Of Dust Cleaning.

Manual Dust Cleaning

Starting The Spraying Through The Manual Button On The Control Cabinet Is Suitable For Temporary Dust Cleaning Or Debugging Scenarios.

Operation Steps: Press The "pulse Cleaning" Button, And The System Will Spray One By One According To The Set Sequence (1-2 Pulse Valves Will Be Sprayed Each Time, With An Interval Of 5-10 Seconds), With A Single Cleaning Time Of About 30-60 Seconds.

4、 Shutdown Operation

Normal Shutdown

Stop The Production Equipment First And Cut Off The Source Of Dusty Gas.

Keep The Fan Running For 5-10 Minutes To Remove Residual Dust From The Filter Bag And Pipeline.

Turn Off The Fan, Then Close The Inlet And Outlet Valves.

Clean The Residual Dust In The Ash Hopper After Shutdown To Avoid Moisture And Clumping.

EMERGENCY STOP

If The Following Situations Occur, Immediately Press The "emergency Stop" Button:

Severe Damage To The Filter Bag Leads To Excessive Dust Emissions;

Pulse Spraying System Malfunction Unable To Clear Dust;

There Are Safety Hazards Such As Severe Vibration, Abnormal Noise, Electrical Leakage, And Smoke In The Equipment.

After Emergency Shutdown, It Is Necessary To Investigate The Cause Of The Malfunction And Repair It Before Restarting.

5、 Daily Maintenance And Upkeep

Filter Bag Inspection

Check The Filter Bag Once A Week To Observe For Any Damage, Aging, Or Sticking Of The Bag (dust Adhesion), And Replace The Damaged Filter Bag In A Timely Manner.

For Sticky Dust (such As Cement And Flour), The Filter Bag Can Be Periodically Blown Back With Compressed Air Or Chemically Cleaned.

Pulse System Maintenance

Check The Pressure Of The Gas Storage Tank Daily To Ensure A Stable Gas Source (replenish Gas Promptly When The Pressure Is Insufficient);

Clean The Pulse Valve Diaphragm And Spray Pipe Nozzle Every Month To Avoid Dust Blockage Affecting The Spray Effect;

Verify Pressure Gauges And Safety Valves Annually To Ensure System Safety.

Fan And Motor Maintenance

Regularly Add Lubricating Oil (the Bearing Lubrication Cycle Is Usually 3-6 Months);

Clean The Dust Accumulation On The Fan Impeller To Avoid Increased Vibration Caused By Imbalance.

6、 Precautions

Safe Operation

Do Not Open The Maintenance Door During Equipment Operation To Avoid Inhaling Dust Or Causing Mechanical Injury;

Explosion Proof Dust Collectors Should Be Used In Explosive Scenarios Such As Flour And Aluminum Powder, And Grounded To Prevent Static Electricity. Dust Concentration Should Be Regularly Monitored.

Environmental Adaptability

When Dealing With High-temperature Gases (such As>120 ℃), It Is Necessary To Use High-temperature Resistant Filter Bags (such As Flumes Filter Material) And Set Up Cooling Devices;

Equipment Insulation And Anti Condensation Measures (such As Ash Hopper Heating And Pipeline Insulation Layer) Should Be Taken In Humid Environments To Avoid Dust Adhesion And Blockage.

Compliant Emissions

Regularly Monitor The Dust Concentration At The Emission Outlet To Ensure Compliance With Environmental Standards (such As General Industrial Dust Emission Concentration ≤ 30mg/m ³);

Waste Filter Bags Should Be Treated As Industrial Solid Waste To Avoid Secondary Pollution.
